| A strong joint in the corner block makes a sturdier chair | |
![]() |
This picture shows the exposed underside of our Original Parsons Chair. The corner blocks are secured with a mortise and tenonjoint groove system. The blocks are both screwed in and glued to the side of the chair. Our wood is 100% solid hardwood - NOT a composite or plywood. This combination creates a chair joint that will last a lifetime. |
| High density foam and Pirelli straps add comfort | |
![]() |
High-density foam and Pirelli straps work together to create a firmer, more comfortable seat cushion. Pirelli straps are essentially seat belt straps that will never wear out. Our high density foam is designed with a high resistance factor and will not break down over time. Many of our competitor's chairs are made with a plywood seat. Which do you think is more comfortable? |
| Stitching with attention to detail extends the life of the chair | |
![]() |
Looking at the stitch work on any piece of furniture can quickly tell you how much time and care was put into its construction. Hometonic uses double line stitching with high tensile thread for long durability. |
| Fortrell offers protection from daily wear and tear | |
![]() |
Fortrell is a protective cotton-like material placed between the high density foam and the underside of the leather. It has two purposes - it protects the leather from chafing on the high density foam and is also a fire retardant material. Fortrell extends the life of your chair. |
