We use only American cow-hide leather in all our dining chairs and accent chairs. Many other leather furniture retailers sell bonded, split or recast leather, where pieces of leather are ground down to a dust and then re-manufactured into a workable hide. We do not. We use the actual hide of the leather in its original form and treat it with a semi-aniline dye, which means the dye permeates deep into the hide. This allows our leather to self repair. Leather scratches on your dining chairs, counter stools and accent chairs are repaired easily - just !reheat the scratched area and allow the dye to bleed into the scratch!
Our leather is treated with this unique stain resistance process that allows it to remain supple and natural looking while being extremely easy to care for. We then treat our leather with a polyurethane coating for your leather chair’s durability and easy maintenance. Normal maintenance requires only wiping with a damp cloth. |
