Shipping Returns
Returns are assessed the flat rate outbound and the inbound shipping cost.
For example, our original parsons chair has a $25 flat rate shipping charge. If this item were ordered and returned, the customer is responsible for $25 in shipping costs to receive the chair and $25 to return the chair for a total of $50.
In this example, the original amount billed would be $199 plus $25 in shipping for a total of $224. Upon receiving the returned chair in good condition HomeTonic would return $174 to the customer, which is $224 minus $50.
If merchandise arrives damaged HomeTonic will replace the damaged part(s) or item at no cost to the purchaser. Exchanges are determined in a case by case basis.
General Shipping Policy
HomeTonic ships via the most cost efficient method of transportation depending on where the order is being shipped. We often use DHL Ground, Fedex International Ground and UPS Freight.
HomeTonic bills a flat rate shipping charge on a per item basis. The shipping price is listed on the product page of all our products. Flat rate shipping costs cannot be lowered when ordering multiple quantities as there is no cost advantage to pass on for heavier or larger multi-piece shipments.
All purchasers will receive a detailed email describing the shipment (# of boxes/pallets), tracking number and estimated time of delivery once their order is shipped. All shipments are sent with a “Signature Required” service so someone must be home to sign for the shipment. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to make suitable arrangements for delivery. Purchaser is responsible to sign accepting the delivery if: (1) proper number of boxes are being delivered: (2) boxes arrive in good condition with no evidence of damage during transit. If Purchaser does not accept delivery, do not sign for the shipment and call our customer service line 1-888-285-1137 immediately to report the declined delivery. HomeTonic cannot be responsible for any package delivered with a signature and subsequently claimed as lost.
SHIPPING COSTS FOR UNDELIVERABLE PACKAGES WILL BE ASSESSED TO THE PURCHASER.
Damaged Goods
If you receive a package that is damaged once you open the box, please contact our Customer Service at 1-888-285-1137 immediately

HomeTonic will accept the return of merchandise with the following conditions:
- You initiate the return of the item within 30 days receiving it. Our warehouse must receive the item within 40 days of our ship date. Items received after these time periods will not be accepted for return
- To qualify as a return, all items must be shipped back in original containers and original condition.
- When we receive your item we will refund your account less shipping.
- If a product is damaged HomeTonic must be notified within 7 days of the customer receiving the product. After this period HomeTonic will not accept product returns with any damage.

Cancelled Orders
Cancelled orders are subject to a 10% restocking fee and may only be cancelled if the order has not shipped.
Methods of Payment
HomeTonic offers several ways to pay for your order, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. In certain circumstances we will accept a Personal Cheque*. We accept credit card information through our secure online ordering system and by operator over the telephone.
*All checks must first clear before merchandise is shipped.
Canadian Orders
Items showing as "In stock" may not be available Canada. Our stock levels reflect the inventory on hand in our New York warehouse.
All orders are billed in US Dollars. If you use a Canadian credit card your bill will be converted from American to Canadian funds at the prevailing credit cards' exchange rate on the date of billing. Orders are typically billed several days before we ship and not necessarily at the time an order is placed. HomeTonic takes no responsibilty for the fluctuation of exchange rates and the effect that may have on your final bill if you are using a non-US Dollar credit card.
All Canadian orders are taxed 5% G.S.T. and Ontario orders are assessed 8% P.S.T. and 5% G.S.T.
